SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (MITCHELLNOW) The Minnehaha County Sheriff’s Office will be adding license plate reader cams. Captain Joe Bosman briefed county commissioners on the move, saying the cameras give law enforcement information that can be critical for public safety. The Minnehaha County Sheriff’s Office is set to deploy license plate reader cameras to enhance public safety and aid in criminal investigations. Captain Joe Bosman told county commissioners the technology will help locate fugitives and track suspicious vehicles.
