MITCHELL, S.D. (MITCHELLNOW) The South Dakota Secretary of State’s Office is reminding businesses of a fee increase taking effect July 1st. Under legislation passed earlier this year, filing fees for Annual Reports and Amended Annual Reports will go up by $5. Nonprofit organizations are exempt from the change. Secretary of State Monae Johnson says the adjustment supports continued efficient and secure service to South Dakota businesses.
