Mitchell Basketball
The Kernel basketball teams will be facing Brookings today over at Brookings high school. Girls/Boys JV and freshman boys begin at 3:30pm, sophomore boys and girls will be at 4:45pm and varsity girls begin at 6pm followed by the (RV) varsity boys who begin at 7:30pm.
Mitchell Gymnastics
The Kernel gymnastics team is set to compete this evening. They’ll be on the road at Huron competing at Huron Tiger Activity Center. It all gets started at 5:30pm.
Mitchell Hockey
The Marlins boys hockey team are set for a busy weekend. It begins today as they will compete in a Varsity Tournament in Shakopee, MN through Sunday. Games will be played throughout the day.
DWU Wrestling
The Tiger women’s wrestling team is slated to compete tomorrow. They’ll be wrestling in the York Open at Tyler Phipps Wrestling Center in York, NE. The event will begin at 9am.
DWU Track & Field
The Tiger track & field teams are both in action tomorrow. They’ll be in the Dave Little Alumni Mile in Spearfish, SD. DWU is expected to begin in the morning, but time is currently listed as TBA on DWU athletics.
SDSU Basketball
The Jackrabbit women’s basketball team took on Denver last night at First Bank & Trust Arena in Brookings. They had a dominating performance from start to finish, holding Denver to a pair of single digit quarters. SDSU won the game 90-44 and Brooklyn Meyer led the team with 18 points.
NBA
The Minnesota Timberwolves return to game action tonight. They’ll be in Houston taking on the Rockets at the Toyota Center in Houston, TX. The game will air on ESPN and begin at 8:30pm.
